Sam Smith- Founder and Chairman of the Board
Sam built Axis Industrial in 2004 after an exciting career in Asia that includes living in Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong and Mainland China.
In 1996, after working for a company sold to Avery Denison, Sam started his first entrepreneurial venture with a furniture factory in Indonesia, where he lived for 10 years. In 2004, he moved to Mainland China full time and built Axis into a reputable building and furnishing suppliers in China.
Sam graduated from the University of Southern California in 1992 with a degree in International Finance. He now lives in Shanghai and is the active manager of the Axis factory in Kunshan City.
Virginia Wang – Director
Virginia, CPA, has been a Director of the Axis since March 2010. Ms. Virginia’s career in public and corporate accounting stretches back to the mid 1980′s. She has held several senior management positions before joining Axis. She is the Chairwomen of the Audit and Compensation Committee and holds an MBA from Peking University.
Oliver Taylor- Chief Executive Officer
Oliver, MBA, has been CEO since September 2010. He brings with him a successful career as an entrepreneur in Asia and the Untied States America.
Pat Chen – Factory Manager
Pat joined Axis in 2003 and performs the duties of factory manager in our factory in Kunshan City. He brings 10 years of experience in the building materials industry with specific experience in bulk raw materials for the building industry. Pat graduated from Anhui Agricultural University.

These partnerships allow us to provide the best possible service, products, and value to our clients by combining the specialized talents and capabilities of each partner.
Axis fulfills its roll as the production arm of the partnership while an architectural design firm in the UK provides world-class designs and a real estate development company in Australia provides a wealth of resources, knowledge and experience with regard to building and implementing the world’s finest prefab residential and commercial buildings.
